Project ALPTER has organized for January 2006 an intrenational workshop on the topic of terracements, with the participations of some international organizations that from a long time have been studying and working to maintain the heritage of terraced areas.

The first part of the workshop will be a congress where some institutions on national and international level will present their activity in dealing with terracements(UNESCO, Societé puo la Pierre Seche, Regione Liguria, and others).

The second part of the day will be a forum where all the organizations taking part to the workahop shall say their opinion on the them of management and recovery of terraced areas.
